Common Questions

How do I connect my Slack channel?

1. Create a new Slack channel (or use an existing one).
2. Invite the NHT bot to the channel.
3. Send a message or use /get-pairing-id.
4. Share the pairing ID with your NHT contact.

Why can't I use direct messages?

The NHT ChatOps integration works with channels only. Direct messages cannot be bridged — please create a channel for your conversation instead.

My messages aren't being delivered

Make sure your channel has been paired. If you haven't received a pairing ID, send a message in the channel and one will be provided automatically. If the issue persists, contact your NHT representative.
